Apple on Friday released ProKit 5.0, an update to the software frameworks that underlies its professional software applications. The new release is available for download on Apple's Web site or through Software Update.
ProKit is used by the applications included in Final Cut Server, Final Cut Studio, Logic Studio and Aperture. The 5.0 update, according to Apple, improves general user interface reliability.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
